Freedom to Marry, EQCA, San Francisco

For those of you who read my first blog post about the Freedom to Marry fundraising event for Equality California at Amy Kuschel's bridal salon... Here's the follow up! It was all about people, beautiful wedding gowns, and a really fun party!

I didn't get any photos, but wanted to say the food by Joshua Charles Catering was fabulous! I had 3 different hors d'oeuvres and loved all of them.

I took this photo shortly after I arrived... By the end of the evening the room was packed with people!

A wee bit blurry but I love the silhouette of this gown and the model wandered amongst the crowd.

This was my first opportunity to ever visit Amy's salon. Of course the gowns were beautifully displayed.

The collections.

Thirsty?

The party getting into full gear.

4 live models spent the evening modeling Amy's new gowns for 2009.

And that's Amy herself with the microphone giving away some really great raffle prizes at the end of the evening. 100% of the donations made are going directly to ECQA.org.

Our note cards were included in all of the gift bags and were a huge hit both at the event and with everyone who has seen them since!
