What I know about Indian American weddings is that they are typically three days long, there are lots of guests and food, the bride wears a beautiful sari, gold jewelry and henna, and sometimes the groom rides a horse. The truth is I only know these things from photos and from hearing other people talk about Indian weddings because I've never attended one. If this is all you know as well, this presentation hosted by the New Delhi Restaurant and Chef Ranjan Dey, will help you to better understand and appreciate Indian wedding traditions, culture and trends for 2011. I always enjoy learning more about other cultures so am looking forward to attending this hosted for charity presentation in San Francisco next month.
