Wedding Professionals: Learning About Indian Weddings

My apologies to interested brides and grooms but this is an industry only event for wedding industry professionals and will not be open to the public.

What I know about Indian American weddings is that they are typically three days long, there are lots of guests and food, the bride wears a beautiful sari, gold jewelry and henna, and sometimes the groom rides a horse. The truth is I only know these things from photos and from hearing other people talk about Indian weddings because I've never attended one. If this is all you know as well, this presentation hosted by the New Delhi Restaurant and Chef Ranjan Dey, will help you to better understand and appreciate Indian wedding traditions, culture and trends for 2011. I always enjoy learning more about other cultures so am looking forward to attending this hosted for charity presentation in San Francisco next month.

"Sneak Peek at Indian Wedding Trends for 2011"
Where: New Delhi Restaurant, 160 Ellis St. San Francisco
When: Friday December 3, 2011
Time: 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

100% of proceeds will benefit San Francisco's Compassionate Chefs Cafe (Non-Profit Tax I.D. 94-3136771) which supports the Tenderloin After School Program (TASP) and Gandhi Ashram which helps to uplift the lives of children in New Delhi India and provide them with important resources.
