Grilled Salmon Burger with Slaw and Quinoa Salad

Ah, a benefit of being friends with Professional MC and Wedding DJ Carl Mindling: Carl knows how to cook and is a fantastic home chef!

Last week I was invited to join Carl and his friends Mark and Rebecca Ferrell, for lunch on his back patio.

This is what Carl whipped up for us: Grilled Wild Salmon Burgers with homemade hoisin BBQ sauce topped off with Asian slaw *Drool*

The side dish was a Quinoa Salad with spinach and fresh cherries. The meal was healthy and delicious, the weather sunny and the conversation was so very interesting.

Thanks again to Carl for being such a great host!

I know Evonne, Carl is super talented in the kitchen. You should see his kitchen. I definitely suffer from kitchen envy:

The only thing that would be better is if we were neighbors so I could have his cooking more often.
