This morning this is what I saw when I peeked into the nest. A wing and a beak.
The pen is touching the nest
Because some of you have asked for a photo that shows scale I placed a ball point pen beside the nest.
At that moment I hadn't realized the baby on the right was lifting its head up!
As soon as I noticed I shifted my focus from the pen to the baby's funny looking little head.
Aw. So sweet!
Eyes are still closed. Wondering when they'll open. Once they do I'll be shooting from further back using my 100-300mm zoom lens. So far I've been using my 14-140mm zoom lens from about 20" away.
